
The World Trick Shot Championship is the world's championship of trick shot billiards. The competition was first held in 1991 and took place on snooker tables. Matchroom Sport organized it. Matchroom Sport organized it. In 2005, the competition was held at Celtic Manor.
In the 1970s, trick shots were popular among professional billiards players around the world. These players were awarded prizes such as the World Championship of Artistic Pool and the International Challenge Cup. Today trick shot is a sanctioned form of pool by the World Pool-Billiard Society. Trick shot artists not only play in tournaments but also teach the sport to others.
Mike Massey, a trick-shot artist from the UK, has been a household name since the late 1970s. He has played with many sports stars, including Jason Gedrick (and Paul Sorvino). Massey has also been a key figure in the sport as an instructor and a fund raiser. His performances at the Waste Management Pheonix Open and the Volvo PGA at Wentworth have garnered him a significant level of visibility.

Mike Massey taught professional athletes such as Scott Baiin, Dean Cain, James Tolkan, and James Tolkan. He has been a member and winner of several professional international competitions. The team performed at both the HSBC Championships Abu Dhabi as well as the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Jim Sommer is another great trick shot artist. He has competed in many international Trick shot turning events. He was the winner of the US Nationals Artistic Pool Championship.
The World Trick Shot Artists Association is an international organization that brings together trick shot artists from around the globe. Paul Gerni, a world champion in trick shot, organizes the association. The WTSAA book contains 160 tricks. Some of these tricks include: the machine gun shot; the "kick", shot; and the quick fire shot. Other trick shots include "pro" shot (extremely cut shot), and "proper" shot.
Tim "The Dragon" Chin, the 2022 US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion, won the prestigious title by defeating Jason "The Michigan Kid" Lynch in the finals. Both Lynch, Chin, and Lynch have been WPA World Ranked. Lynch is still an Ohio State student, but Chin has the advantage as a seasoned professional.

The next Trick Shot Magic event will be held on October 9-10. The event will include eight international stars. The purse is worth $40,000. Each player will have six to ten choices. Each player will get three chances at completing the shot once they have chosen their favorites. The player with the most successful shot will receive a point.
Geoff McIlroy, for many years, was the best trick-shot artist in the entire world. Noel Hunt inspired him to learn trick shots. He's been to many places and met people he never anticipated, but he is determined to keep trying.
