Rotation Pool is a billiards game which uses a standardized pool table and a cue ball. It's similar in that you can only take the lowest numbering of the balls from the table. These rules are in addition to those of the General Rules of Pocket Billiards.
Rotation pool rules are based upon the point system. This means that the player with the most points wins. A point schedule is used to determine the numerical value of the pool balls. It can be anything from one up to fifteen. Other handicapping systems are also available. For example, players who pocket a lower value ball can only pocket a higher value ball on the same shot. This allows different players to have different point totals.

Rotation Pool uses a billiards rack in a triangle shape. The lower valued balls of the table are generally taken first. However, the higher-valued balls can be kept in the same play. A random arrangement of the balls on the rack is also possible. The rack's upper two-thirds contain "money balls," which are designated with dollar amounts.
The game known as rotation pool is primarily used for gambling. Points are awarded for the player who collects the most balls. Depending on the rules of the game, the highest score can earn a share of the game kitty, which is usually at stake. There are many tournaments, leagues and competitions to play in the rotation pool. Tournaments are usually held in multiple rounds. Only the top finishers advance into the next round. Alternately, they can be played in one elimination bracket.
There are many variations of rotation pool games. However, the most popular one is the ten-ball. In this game, each player must keep the eight ball legaly in his/her pocket. When a player fails to pocket the eight ball, the player is eliminated. The player who pockets the eighth ball, however, is considered to have made the shot. The ball is returned to the player for the first shot following the break.
Rotation pool is a different game to pool. A player must hit the ball with the lowest number on the table first. All other balls remain out of play and the player with the lowest number must take the shot. Additionally, fouls must also be called before the next shot. Faults could include dropping an object ball on the table, failing legal to pocket an object, or not contacting a numbered cue ball. Fouls also have a number associated with them. If the foul is repeated three times, the player will be removed from the frame.

Rotation Pool can be played up to four players. Typically, it is played in a league with teams of players, and league organizers can pay a franchise fee for the right to organize and promote the sport.
