9 balls

Make sure you are familiar with the rules of bar pool before you play. Be familiar with the 8-ball rule, Rotation, Double tapping and Assigning stripes or solids. This will ensure that your game is enjoyable and fun for all. Make sure you learn how to play eight-ball correctly. This will make it easier for you to win.

8-ball

Eight-ball pool rules are different to professional pool rules. The 8-ball Pool Rules are for the average player. You don't have to read fifteen pages of complex rules in order to play a pool game. Instead, they will help you understand the basic pool game.

Color-based racking is not allowed in the eight-ball game. This version of the game requires that the 8 ball be the frontmost of three center balls. However, most people choose to put the one in front. Rules also stipulate that you can lose a turn for making a mistake with a ball. It is not necessary to call straight-in shots, or touch a rail while taking a shot.

Double tapping

Double tapping refers to a player's ability double tap on an object by placing the cue ball near the object ball and aiming towards it. A cueball is closer to an object when it is less then an inch from it. It is also known as "sharking."

Assigning solids/stripes

Common ways to establish the style of a bar pool game are to assign solids/stripes to their rules. Solids and strips are two types of pool game. To call all aspects of a 8-ball game, players use a cueball.

Official pool rules also prohibit hitting opponent's objectball first. A player who has a striped ball in their pocket ends their turn. A double hit is also when the player hits the cue balls twice in one stroke. This is considered a foul.

Etiquette

You can play pool at any bar with a variety of rules. Each bar will have its own rules. Ask before you play. It is also a good idea to inquire if any rules will be in force for the next round. It's important to follow the rules and respect them if there are. Everyone can have fun and not cause any harm.

It is important that you remember that WPA's "official rules" don't include "dirty swimming pools." Smart pool is the type of shot that's not dirty. However, some people consider defensive shots dirty. Others consider shots that have been intentionally scratched to be unethical.
