China has been a rising force in the world of Snooker for the past ten years. The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association has been trying to help the sport in China. China is home of more than 50,000,000 snooker players, making it the biggest snooker-playing country in the globe. But the Chinese haven't yet seen a winner of the world championship. As the sport grows more popular, it is predicted that Chinese snooker athletes will increase in number.

Chinese snooker players have been hailed as icons of their country. There are thousands of people who gather to watch the tournaments. They are treated like celebrities and get champagne receptions. Younger players are becoming more popular as the sport gains popularity. Tian Pengfei is among the youngest players. Zhang Jiankang is also among them.

Despite China having become the leading force in snooker over recent years, another scandal has rocked this sport. Yu Delu, an ex-professional player, was suspended for match-fixing. Yu is currently serving a 10-year ban. WPBSA are also investigating match-fixing allegations made for betting purposes.

Although there have not been any bans on specific players, they cast a shadow over this sport. There are only 12 Chinese players in the top 64 of the world. After Zhao Xintong's suspension and Li Hang's addition, the number of Chinese players in the top 64 has fallen to 11. Additionally, the CBSA is currently investigating allegations that Liang Wenbo and Lu Ning were involved with match-fixing.

However, the biggest name in the investigation so far is Yan Bingtao, who is the 2021 Masters champion. He was supposed to play in the World Snooker Tour's next month event. However, he was disqualified after being drew against Mark Williams in the first round. His prediction of being the first Chinese player to win the world championship was high, but his comments regarding the ongoing investigation are limited.

Zhao Xintong is another Chinese player who has been suspended from the World Snooker Tour. He was ranked world's No. 1 player earlier this year. 1 player, and is regarded as one of the best in the sport. In a global investigation into match-fixing, he now faces criminal charges.

The investigation also included former world no. 11 Liang Wenbo, who was suspended in October. Several other Chinese players have been reprimanded for alleged cheating or abuse. These are only a few of the hundreds of millions who have been following the sport in China.

Nevertheless, the fact that a large number of Chinese players are on the World Tour shows that the game is gaining widespread popularity in China. More tournaments are held in China.

The country still has a lot of work to do before it can be as successful as the UK. More tournaments are being held, which means that more young Chinese players are finding their way into the professional snooker scene.

Zhao Xintong is currently the highest-ranking Chinese player in the world, followed by Ding Junhui. Ding is an extremely popular Chinese player who has won numerous ranking titles. Ding said that he wants to win the World Championship even though he had not won one.
